Your satisfaction with our products and service is important to us. We fully warranty all of our products against manufacturer defects. This does not include normal wear and tear through use, or the natural breakdown of materials and colors over time, laundering, and misuse. Please contact us if you are ever unhappy with our products and services, and we will do what we can to make it right.

Customer Assistance

We are here to help you. If you have questions about our products or how to place an order, please send a message via our contact us page, via email or call us, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific Standard Time. Email will be replied to usually within one business day. If you are not hearing back from us, please give us a call, as spam blockers may prevent email delivery.

We exhibit at dance conventions and beauty pageants, and while on the road we might not be able to respond right away. When we are on the road we will respond to you as soon as we can.

 

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Your personal information will not be sold or shared with any other person or company.

 

Payment

We only accept credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Your credit card will not be charged until it has been reviewed and is being processed. If an order is split as a result of a back ordered item, your credit card will be charged only for those items shipped. Later, when the remaining order is shipped your card will be separately charged for those items at that time. Prices are shown in U.S. Dollars.

"Reiyou" will appear as the payee on your credit card statement.

A printed invoice will be included with your shipped order. Credit card receipts will be generated and sent via email by our credit card processor, rather than including printed copies with your shipment.  This is an effort to save paper. If you need a printed credit card receipt sent for your records, please let us know in the message section of your order and we will be happy to include one.

 

Taxes

We collect sales tax for the State of California (Los Angeles district) when shipping retail orders within California.

 

Turnaround Time and Rush Orders

Most orders ship within 3-5 business days, and standard USPS Priority Mail delivers usually in 2-3 business days.

If you have a rush order and need to meet a specific deadline, please indicate so in the message section when entering your order. We will do our best to give you a timeframe for shipment and delivery and options for express shipping. If you require a rush order that needs to be shipped within 1 or 2 business days, please indicate so in the message section of the shopping cart during the checkout process and we will do what we can. A $20.00 expedite fee for taking USPS Express shipments to the post office will be applied as well.

Item Availability and Back Orders

All items are subject to availability. Fashion is a fast-paced, competitive business, and styles and colors are constantly introduced. Likewise, fashions and colors will be discontinued. While we do our best to keep our online store selections up to date, on occasion a particular color or style may already have been sold out upon your placing an order, and will no longer be available.

If you place an order and a particular style or color is no longer available, we will contact you to discuss options. Your options can include substituting a different color or style, or canceling the line item. We will do our best to help fulfill your needs.

Clearance items, and items whose quantities are limited and are not expected to be re-made, will be noted so in the item description. In these cases you may wish to contact us regarding availability if you wish to purchase multiple quantities of a particular style or color, especially of the style or color is critical in your planning.

On occasion colors or styles will be back ordered. When this occurs, and the back order is expected to take more than several days to resolve, we will contact you and provide options. Your options may include splitting the shipment and shipping what is available right away, holding the entire order, substituting a different color or style, or canceling the line item.

 

Standard Domestic Shipping

Your shipping cost is a flat $6.00, no matter the size of the order, for all domestic U.S. retail orders. All orders for the United States are shipped USPS Priority Mail. In general, USPS Priority Mail delivers in 2-3 business days throughout most parts of the United States. However please be aware that delivery in 2-3 business days is not guaranteed by USPS.

 

Express Shipping

USPS Express shipments will incur additional shipping costs. The shopping cart system does not provide options for Express shipping. Please provide a note in the message box that Express shipping is desired. The retail cost for USPS Express Mail will be manually added to your order amount and invoice. A $20.00 expedite fee for taking USPS Express shipments to the post office will be applied as well.

Examples:

For USPS Express shipping, most orders under $100.00 USD for seamless dancewear will fit into a either a USPS Express Flat Rate Envelope or a USPS Express Padded Flat Rate Envelope. In both these cases, the shipping cost is $19.95 (as of January 27, 2013), plus an additional amount for insurance for packages valued over $100.00 (USPS already provides up to $100.00 insurance on Express shipments), plus the $20.00 expedite fee..

Orders that will not fit in a flat or padded envelope may fit into a USPS Express Flat Rate Box, whose shipping cost is $39.95, plus insurance (as of January 27, 2013, plus the $20.00 expedite fee. For larger orders that will not fit into the flat rate packaging, the actual shipping cost for USPS Express will be higher and will depend on the size and weight of the package.

If you request Express Shipping, we will assume the amount for the actual shipping costs, including insurance, and the $20.00 expedite fee, is pre-approved. Please let us know in the Shopping Cart message box if you need us to provide a shipping quote for your approval prior to shipping your order.

 

International Shipping and Customs/Tariffs

International shipments (outside of the U.S.) will be charged retail postage and shipped USPS International Priority Mail.  Shipping rates can vary based on weight, box size, and destination.

Examples:

Most orders under $100.00 USD for seamless dancewear will fit into either a Small USPS Flat Rate Box, a USPS Flat Rate Envelope. or a USPS Padded Flat Rate Envelope. In these cases, the actual shipping cost is $19.95 to Canada, and $23.95 to Australia, Japan, and many countries in Western Europe (United Kingdom, France, etc.) (as of January 27, 2013).

For larger orders that will not fit into the flat rate envelopes, the shipping cost will be higher, and will depend on the size and weight of the package.

For orders valued over $100.00 USD, we will purchase insurance if it is allowed by the US Postal Service, and this cost for insurance will be added to the order total as well.

It is assumed that you, the customer, accepts the additional cost and approves charging your credit card the additional International shipping cost as part of entering the order. If you wish to have a shipping quotation done and would like to review the amount first, please either contact us prior to placing your order, or request this in the message box during the checkout process for your order.  We will calculate and provide you a shipping quotation for your review prior to processing your order.

International Tracking and insurance: Standard International USPS Priority Mail services do not provide insurance or tracking services once the shipment has left the United States. If you require tracking services, shipping via USPS International Express Mail is an options, however please be aware these services may be substantially more expensive. Reiyou/Bodkini cannot be responsible for lost packages.

Please be aware that Customs inspections may occur en-route, causing a delay in delivery. Also, there is a possibility that you may be charged import duties into your country. Customs tariffs and taxes for imports into your country are the responsibility of, and are to be paid for, by the customer.

 

Defective Products, or Wrong Item, Size or Color

Please examine your purchase before removing tags, wearing or washing. Defective products, or items that are incorrect (including size and/or color) may be exchanged or returned for full credit. Please notify us about any problems as soon as possible so that we can process your exchange or return in an expedited manner, and assist with return shipping charges.

Please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number prior to returning any products. If you do not contact us prior to shipping, you will be responsible for all shipping charges. Please identify the RA Number on the package with the return.

 

Returns

Please examine and try on your purchase prior to removing tags (if any), wearing or washing. Only garments that have not been worn (other than trying them on for fit), and are unused and unwashed can be returned. Items showing any condition of wear, perspiration, makeup, deodorant, hair, stained, soiled, or dirty are non-returnable.

Items may be returned within 10 days if you are not satisfied with your purchase.

You must contact us to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number prior to returning any products, and specify the reason for the return. We cannot be responsible for any returns sent to us if you do not first obtain an RA Number. Please identify the RA Number we provide to you on the package with the return, and we will watch for your return shipment and schedule the credit or exchange.

Returns for a refund will incur a $6.00 restocking fee per returned shipment. The customer is responsible for return postage. Refunds will be issued back to your original credit card within two weeks, or if you wish, store credit can be given for use with a future purchase. An email will be sent to inform you a credit has been issued.

The $6.00 restocking fee is waived on returns sent for exchange. The customer is responsible for return postage, and postage for shipping the replacement item(s).

The shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid. C.O.D. deliveries will not be accepted. It is recommended a traceable shipping method for returns be used, or be returned USPS Priority Mail, insured. We are not liable for lost packages.

 

Colors

The color swatches in the product pages and the Idea / Kurve Dancewear Color Chart are displayed as accurately as possible, however there can be variations in texture, material and also variations as a result of your computer monitor.

 

One Size Fits Most

Seamless garments generally come "One Size Fits Most." The material is very stretchy. Our sizing categories correspond with age-categories of the dance conventions we attend. Below are rough guidelines:

  • Mini (Child S-Child M)
  • Tween (Child M/L - Adult S)
  • Junior (Child L/Adult XS-Adult M)
  • Teen (Adult M-Adult L)
  • Senior (Adult L-Adult XL)
  • Pro (Adult XL-Adult XXL)

In the individual product listings, we describe the approximate size range each garment will fit. Often, the same garment can fit both a Child-Medium as well as stretch out to fit a Junior-Medium, and still look good and fit correctly. We also recognize bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and if you are unsatisfied with the fit, the garment may be returned.

 

Multi Pack Pricing and Volume Discounts for teams, recitals and performances

We offer multi-pack options for many of our seamless basics and fashions, including both separates and outfits, that are in production. Styles can be ordered in multiples of 3 or 6 of the same style and color. These item listings contain a "unit" pull-down menu option.

  • Selecting a 3-pack of the same style and color provides a 10% discount off of the standard price.
  • Selecting a 6-pack of the same style and color provides a 20% discount off of the standard price.
  • The default selection of 1-each of a particular style and color is the standard, already-low price.

Multi Pack Ordering Examples:

  1. If you need 18 blue tank tops, you can order 3 packs of 6, all at a 20% discount.
  2. If you need 7 pink tank tops, you can order a 6-pack at the 20% discounted price, but will need to add a second line and order the remaining tank top at the standard price.
  3. If you need 9 purple shorts, you can order a 6-pack at the 20% discounted price, but will need to add a second line and order a 3-pack at the 10% discounted price.

These options are ideal for Studio Owners, Dance Instructors, Choreographers, Dancers and Parents who are interested in purchasing larger volumes of dancewear for trios, group performances, recitals, dance companies and teams, etc.

Fundraising Activities

We provide fundraising opportunities for dance studios, dance companies, beauty pageant organizations, charity events, and schools in the Los Angeles area.

  1. The first opportunity is for us to hold a sale at your location. A portion of the sales proceeds would be donated to your organization.
  2. The second opportunity is for us to provide your organization a unique coupon code. When your organization members, students, parents, relatives or friends place an order using the coupon code, the order will be logged. A portion of the sales proceeds of all orders placed using this code will be donated to your organization. In addition, the customer making the order will receive a discount on their purchase from our regular retail prices.
